The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffengger
I've seen the film first, then read the book,naturally the book is better, because it explains things further and gives you time to figure everything out. I liked the alternation between Henry and Clare telling the story, too. Their story is a wonderful mixture of ordinary and extraordinary and their strong, true love is presented realistically with troubles and all.
